    Pros

    Work Study
Allowed to do Homework if not busy
    Flexible

    Cons

Maximum hours allowed a week are 14, however there are several workers so it is unlikely you will get to work a full 14 hours a week

    Advice to Management

Management never does inspections or checks employees on their daily duties, do not care. Fire management start with new ones that care

    Pros

Great students and nice campus. Used to be a striving University, so hopefully they could return to that.

    Cons

Pay is below industry average. Upper management is very controlling and stingy. Often investing money in the wrong places. You could tell that some staff members were experience burn-out and had no ambition to contribute their skills to the university any longer.

    Advice to Management

Reevaluate supervisors, try anonymous surveys to receive feedback from everyone

    Pros

    - Good way to get some job experience and an kind of advanced degree at a significant discount.
    - Lots of vacation time.
    - I had good health insurance.

    Cons

    - Years of poor leadership across the entire administration hurt the school.
    - Low pay, terrible raises.
    - Very low morale.

    Advice to Management

I had a lot of good experiences at SXU but the place had some serious problems when I was there. Many people didn't have their hearts in the job at SXU because there was a sense that things weren't going well for the school financially... plus the below-average pay and little opportunity for advancement in most departments.
