      It was opportunity to get great experience working with the professional people and friendly work environment which made impact to meet requirements timely.

      The management did not arrange proper training to expand knowledge and skills in your position.

      I have been working at Saipem full-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

      Get to learn lots of new things and travel to different places as its a big company. established company and a stable job.

      Cons

      Efforts and results and not being recognized equally and opportunities are usually being given to preferred individuals. Management are not really approachable to the ground level people.

      Advice to Management

      Get more feedback from the ground level and open up to the lower level workers more. More listening and interaction with your subordinates would make the work place much better place.

      I have been working at Saipem

      Pros

      Well integrated team(s). Good balance between private life and work. Quite good professional work (specially if you can experience the site activities). International environment.

      Cons

      Rigid procedures and bureaucracy. Not too many benefits. Career path is dependent from many factors not only the professional results.

      Advice to Management

      Technical Saipem staff shall be proposed to be assigned to site projects (at least once) in order to improved their skills and competencies (and create value for Company) rather then prefer project hired people. Leading and management people shall be assessed based on their job results and capabilities (Leadership means influence others even if at lower levels).
