I have been working at Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    the discount is so amazing!!!

    Cons

too much stuff to do with such little pay. Saks doesn't give each store enough hours for payroll we have 1 person in each dept before and after holidays. its crazy how you're not appreciated as much as you should!! recommend if you have nothing to do, and just want to work not because you need to work!

    Advice to Management

hire people who actually work. and don't pay $9/hr to do a million things in an 5-8 hour shift.

I have been working at Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They're pretty flexible with your schedule after some time of working with them. The job is easy and manageable.

    Cons

There is no set schedule, it is constantly changing. Minimal to no room for change (salary & position). Also, working in retail, you deal with a lot of characters who don't believe you when it comes to certain policies.

    Advice to Management

Respect employees who have been loyal to the company for quite some time. Respect as in maybe raising their salary and have them move up in the company. Giving it to newer people is just a huge let-down and disappointment. Also, customers are always complaining about certain policies and memberships. Listen to what they say because having to explain and cover-up the situation makes them not want to come.
