I have been working at Salesforce full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Salesforce is a VERY LARGE company. They have acquired a lot of companies, both small startups to large Billion dollar companies. So there are lots of opportunities across the company.
    - Culture is excellent
    - Upward mobility is possible

    Cons

    - Parts of Salesforce is still old, so it may be hard to work in those areas.
    - Company changes constantly so if you want to succeed, you must adapt

    Modern tech-stack, pro-growth attitude
    Competitive salaries for engineers

    Cons

    Advice to Management

A formal on-boarding process for new Software Developers. This is probably (the only) thing ETMC did better than Salesforce,.

    Pros

Salesforce is a good place to work. 50 hours paid volunteer time, will match up $5000 in charitable donations. Be sure to have your manager help you develop for your next promotion. Managers that help to build toward promotion are good, not all of them actively do that however.

    Cons

Java development in a big enterprise stack is a slow. Development lifecycle is slow. The management chain is very clicky like in a high school. Developers (regular, senior, leads) are just worker bees.
