I have been working at Salesfusion full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I've worked at Salesfusion for nearly 2 years. We've had growing pains (as any other start-up would) and we've learned along the way. It truly has been a noticeable change in company climate (in a very good way) with the new CEO change late last year. You will have your opinion heard here and have the opportunity to chase down whatever project you'd like to dedicate your time to. You will be encouraged to step out of...

    Cons

On the growing pains front, we have made strides in who we are, and we can continue to improve here. The information that was horded between departments is starting to flow more, but could always be improved upon.

    Advice to Management

Keep listening to the people who know the platform. Zero in where we can improve and keep your foot on the gas.

I have been working at Salesfusion full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Progressive office environment: After having lived in Berlin and being exposed to its Berlin start-up environment, I thought I would never find a collaborative, progressive culture like that in the states. Salesfusion thrives on making a work place that's collaborative and progressive. The entire atmosphere is low-stress, encouraging people to enjoy coming to the office and putting their best efforts into their work....

    Cons

Located in Buckhead, Atlanta. Traffic can be rough, especially since I live an hour outside of the city. That said, there are flex hours in place that allow me to adjust my schedule to avoid traffic and work the best hours for my schedule.

I have been working at Salesfusion full-time

    Pros

Nice office, great food on Fridays, easy access to Marta

    Cons

Poor Senior Level Management, Poor Compensation, High Turnover, Poor company morale

    Advice to Management

Give Sales Executives more time to cultivate territory. Product is not great but can be sold if given enough time to properly cultivate a territory.

I have been working at Salesfusion full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I've been with Salesfusion nearly 2 years. Great Work Environment, Open Office, Free Beer, Free Snacks, Flexible Work Schedule, Unlimited PTO (Within Reason), Lots of company events, Music in the office Management is great, they genuinely feel like friends of mine and I can rely on them and voice my concerns openly. Communication is encouraged and questions are openly addressed at our monthly All-Hands meetings....

    Cons

To say there are no "Cons" to any job would be a lie. People do tend to leave frequently, but I don't believe in any way this is associated to who the company is or the people that work there. More-so a product of being a smaller software company. Salesfusion has many employees that have a longer tenure and have no intention on parting ways from the company.

    Advice to Management

Keep being awesome and encouraging us the way you do.

    I worked at Salesfusion full-time

    Pros

there were plenty of events and activities, break room had beer and snacks and games, they brought 2 meals for everyone each week, and are very flexible with both working from home and vacation time. plenty of the people were very nice and smart, making the environment tolerable.

    Cons

the product itself is awful. it's actually 2+ different versions of the software with poor attempts to hide the old/broken features, and many features hardly compare to competitor equivalents. they want to please everyone instead of just finding what sets them apart, making a quality product, and selling it honestly to people that need it. Product fails regularly, and the higher-ups rarely take responsibility. There's...

    Advice to Management

Fix the product. Stop wasting investor money on "fun" to attempt to keep internal churn low. A good product will sow loyalty even through hard times, with both employees and customers. With employees embarassed about the consistent shortcomings and failures of the product, you'll keep losing the good talent you need to course-correct.

I worked at Salesfusion full-time for more than a year

    Pros

-Cool and hip work environment (start up feel), tons of snacks, beers, and happy hours. -They will help provide access to enterprise tools for anyone just getting out of college... they even hire people without degrees [read into that however you feel]. -They have some fairly okay health benefits but that's it.

    Cons

-Product has TONS of issues and is a laughing stock of the employee base. -Company is constantly bleeding any real talent and actively seeking a buyout masked under the guise of 'series x funding'. -The average retention rate is 2 years or less according to LinkedIn because real talent is always UNDERPAID and therefore poached. -Career growth path is stagnant, where they tell you to create your own role and nothing...

    Advice to Management

-Learn to hire and MAINTAIN middle managers. -Leave middle management to the managers and focus on the high level only. -Invest more heavily into your product and not keeping your employees happy via frivolities.

I worked at Salesfusion full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The bulk of the people are great! Friends in every department and the free lunches, snacks, beer, etc is a nice to have. The events that the employee team gets to organize are great!

    Cons

There are needs to have to make employees successful. These needs are overlooked and when management is asked, it is ignored or mocked. The management has caused turnover that has ultimately hurt the company and created hostile environments. There are some unrealistic expectations, metrics, and heavy micromanaging that prevent employee success as well. The company has a great product yet no messaging to get the product...

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employee's needs and set realistic metrics. If there is a tool that will be helpful to the team then invest. Hire actual sales management that is fruitful to the team. If you recognize that you or your team is not performing well, then act on it. Do not place blame, rather work with your teams as a collaborative. This would be well taken and productive. Management like to run the company with emotions and...

I have been working at Salesfusion full-time for less than a year

    Pros

People - everyone is hands-on (C-level executives included!) and willing to help each other Culture - bagels every Tuesday morning and catered lunches on Thursdays, beer on tap, a wall full of snacks, ping pong, foosball, scooters, and open desks (no cubes) Benefits - fully paid medical, unlimited PTO , stock options

    Cons

Open desks setup - it's great for collaborating with everyone, but it can be a bit distracting at times. It takes a little getting used to. The company is growing quickly and with that will always be growing pains.

I have been working at Salesfusion full-time

      Pros

Awesome culture and people here. Product is starting to take some turns that add even more value to the platform. Only platform that offers FREE phone support and the option for managed services to help marketing teams. Outlook is high over here!

      Cons

Change is always a constant, but if something is not changing I would consider that more of a red flag.

      Advice to Management

Continue to hire good people. New sales leadership is awesome. Continue to invest in the product as we are onto something that is going to separate us.
