I worked at Salesian Missions full-time

    Pros

    The people are nice enough.

    Cons

These people have no sense of morality and look only after themselves. They won't hesitate to throw you under the bus the second things get rough. That being said, if they like you (or if you got something on them), you can stay there forever.

    Advice to Management

You are not fit to lead a church choir, much less a non profit organization. Hire competent people and pray for the best.

    Pros

The work they attempt to do is great.

    Cons

Most employees pose themselves as good individuals giving their life to help the poor. Not only could this be further from the truth but many times, they end up hurting the poor while they battle each other with inner politics. This issue could easily be solved if management would get it's act together. Aside from the short leash they have most employees on, they make decisions based on who seems to be more religious. Worst of all, they don't hesitate to clear anyone out of their way if they are on the wrong side of the fence. Be warned, do not trust these people, they are only loyal to their bank accounts.

    Advice to Management

Give people more room to improve things within the company and create money for the company. It would also help if each department would support their employees instead of leaving them to hang the second controversy arises.
