    Pros

Good hours, intelligent nursing staff and excellent care to patients.

    Cons

Upward movement is not great, but it is a health care facility and promotions are realy up to the employee, rather than the employer.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you do.

I worked at Salina Regional Health Center full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Super caring employees that even if they are over-worked they don't give up they keep a positive attitude with their peers and especially the patients!!

    Cons

High expectations, poor salary increases, not much incentive given to hard working employees!! No matter how negative my personal outcome was with SRHC I still have a lot of respect for every employee including management and would recommend the facility to be a great place to work!

    Advice to Management

Need to stop being so self-absorbed and give some attention to the employees that work hard to make you an excellent healthcare facility in the community and surrounding communities!

I worked at Salina Regional Health Center full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Co-workers are fabulous. The care is fantastic! Team work is excellent.

    Cons

    - Error reporting is incredibly punative, instead of helping the process it is a search and destroy mission for you and your career.
-If you are looking to find a home where you feel like you make a difference and could possibly move into management this is NOT the place to do it.
-If you are looking for someone to "have your back" this is not the place for you.

    Advice to Management

You might try asking the employees how to be more cost effective, and as them how to improve processes instead of hunting them down for mistakes.
