      Proceed with caution, good discount

      Pros

Great 40% employee discount, flexible scheduling, employees are super nice and help each other

      Cons

You basically train yourself. You work alone often which means no bathroom or lunch break for a number of hours, credit card machines often malfunction in the middle of a transaction which results in very frustrated customers who then take it out on you. Expected to consistently sell credit cards when you are already stressed to just perform a basic transaction that often malfunctions, freezes, wrong price, unable to override price, etc. I'm more focused with trying to successfully get a customer out the door in a timely fashion that it is very difficult to ALSO push a credit card -- and then pray that that process successfully translates with the computer. Also due to the technology issues, other tasks that shouldn't take too long take a ridiculous amount of time because you're trying to fix the printer or are on the phone with the ITs etc. Management doesn't follow covid protocols and has extreme mood swings that creates a very anxious and stressful environment for the employees. The same manager also has been combative with customers as well (so much so that they have switched to a nearby salon centric and have vocalized this) which the employees then have to constantly apologize for their behavior. They also so focus so much on sales that they recommend literally any product to a customer regardless of what that customer needs - which also has resulted in many returns and complaints. Expects you to know random things that were never communicated to you. Extreme micromanaging - you are focused on what the manager wants you to do and not what the store actually needs (price tags for every product, price updates, getting shipment out asap, etc) which results in a number of issues that you eventually are confronted with, with frustrated customers. It feels like you are working solely for the manager, and not the company or store itself. Uncomfortable to express any of these concerns with the manager as the result will most likely be extremely defensive and condescending, and would create tension in already small condensed space. Overall, I am at the point where I do the minimum required of me, and am currently seeking new job opportunities if the environment does not improve.

      Pros

I really enjoyed the tasks the job required including floor plans, shipment, and engaging with customers

      Cons

The work environment was extremely toxic, the management was unreasonably mean and rude. I originally loved the job but the emotional abuse and being taken advantage of took a toll on my mental health.

Lots of education and training.
