I worked at Sam's Club full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Honestly not many, they are always cutting staff to compete with Costco who does the same thing with a third of the employees. You are expected to pick up the slack.

    Cons

Same as pros, they honestly work you to death, then expect you to be happy about it. It's okay once you start, but there aren't many days you love.

I have been working at Sam's Club full-time

    Pros

Put in the time, there are definitely perks and benefits. I actually enjoy going in to work most days.

    Cons

The biggest issue is chronic understaffing, and the need to help in several areas at once.

I have been working at Sam's Club part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Sam's Club is a great place to work. All employees receive profit sharing. When sales are high employees are rewarded with free catered meals. Highly respected work place. Many opportunities to grow.

    Cons

For me i found it hard to make plans with my schedule, I worked every weekend and you must ask off a month in advance.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you do!

I worked at Sam's Club part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The company has a real big "open door" policy, and a lot of the managers and coaches followed it very well. Most of them were very easy to get along with, and the job itself is fairly easy.

    Cons

Your PTO gets used for holidays, and you have to ask for it not to be used. Also, even if you requested a day off in advance, it would still be rejected.
