I have been working at Sammons Financial Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Sammons really focuses on their employees and wants them to thrive and be the best they can every day. Your voice, whether you are front line or Senior Management, will be heard. Sammons really focuses on their brand and culture. Jeans are allowed every day. Scheduled off at 12:30 p.m. EVERY Friday. There is a great work/life balance and you are encouraged to have a life outside of work. The opportunity for advancement is high. The pros are endless.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work. Communication is key though.

    Pros

Sammons has a culture of transparency, openness, laid-back yet high performing. No political agendas! Employee owned so no pressure to get that extra penny each quarter at the expense of the future.

    Cons

health benefits could be better. no onsite fitness center

    Advice to Management

only thing I can think of is better health benefits. not very good compared to other top places to work. I think this is the only thing keeping us from being #1 place to work!

I have been working at Sammons Financial Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There is something to be said for an employee owned company-- from the top down, people truly care about the work they do. Not only do they care about how it impacts our 'bottom line', but they care about long term results impacting agents and customers. The culture is amazing- I've been in the insurance industry almost 20 years and this company has the best culture, by far.

    Cons

    I truly don't have any.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing-- when you put people first and invest in your teams, they put their best foot forward and the rest takes care of itself.
