Pros
You can get good salary and bonuses If you want to make some quick bucks and use this place as transition then it is okay otherwise donot join.
Cons
No work life balance [you have to sit 9+ hrs even if you don't have work] No real work Multiple teams on same floor fighting over a same project Discrimination by Headquarters, They donot trust Bangalore office No challenging work, 30-40% of engineers are passing time, I anticipate layoffs in next year Leadership is hiring from top IITs and paying them double of salary of existing experienced employees I never met a single Samsung employee who says that he has proud and happy working in Samsung

Pros
Good location, nice office. Starting early office gives a good time overlap with Korea. This helps starting to office very early and leaving early. This way Bangalore traffic can be avoided and a good work life balance can be maintained
Cons
Samsung as a Company seldom has any vision. It is primarily western focus, or at times eyes at what far east (Japan) is doing. The work here is just a blind replication of what happening in west and far east. There are no ethics and morality. No respect for intellectual property. Copying and replicating is a daily job

Pros
It is the biggest R&D center outside of Korea. Even during recession time, this company did not layoff a single person, infact it has grown. The work is good, if you get into a development project.
Cons
At times work is hectic and can hit ur normal work life balance Got pissed off with few ight security policies
