Good employee benefits & cafeteria. That's about it.

        Cons

        - There is no work-life balance. - SSI is far from global company standards regarding process, system, and innovation, even though it claims to be a global tech company. - They have a very weak HR head who has white supremacy, a lack of competence, and judgment of people. She tends to gossip and spread a rumor around people.

The last company I worked perm with laid me off, and I'm trying to decide the best way to word it. What I currently say doesn't elicit negative feedback. What I currently say: The company determined that they had an immediate need for someone with a higher-level skill set in my position, so they laid me off. What my spouse (who has been a hiring manager) recommends I say: The company decided to restructure my position, and I was assured it wasn't performance related. Thoughts? Thank you.
