I worked at Samsung Techwin full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Solid benefits that included paid healthcare.
Nice, fancy building with free gym membership on top floor (Houston, TX office)
    Free soft drinks provided.

    Cons

I was hired for a technical role that never came to exist and ended up in a project role. I grew independently in areas where I was already familiar (codes, standards) but certain principal engineers made it clear they would not assist me in learning or developing new skills.
US management never seemed on the same page with Korean management; there were various instances of sabotage and blame.
The Korean mentality seemed more focused on reverse-engineering and imitating the competition than innovating something new.
Overall, I consider my time there a step backwards in my career.

The Supervisor promised full time before being hired and lied to. You have to completed 40 calls or more in order to keep your job. you have a 90 day probation period until you get to full time. You only get paid $12.00 an hour which is not worth living off of in anaheim, ca

    Advice to Management

Supervisors complain about customers that they deal with all day long. Except you to know everything with only 3 days of training from the supervisor.
