Sbcusd has great benefits including insurance for medical, dental, life, etc. as well as health and wellness programs including fitness classes and online wellness incentive program.

    Cons

The area and students/ families we work with have many challenges and barriers to learning that the employees have to deal with and work hard to help them overcome.

    Advice to Management

I worked at San Bernardino City USD part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I gained all my work experience through this program when I was in high school. During my school years, I worked in the cafeteria. It was honestly a great stepping stone for me.

    Cons

It gave a lot of golden opportunities on where to intern/extern/volunteer, but I think they should focus on other businesses as well. Grocery stores, casinos, colleges, dentist offices etc...

    Advice to Management

I think SBCUSD should bring the program back, or at least make it a volunteer program over the summer still allowing the students to get credits.
