I worked at San Francisco Giants part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great first experience into the sporting world. Helpful Junior Giants Coordinators. Fun to meet other ambassadors. Awesome experience to work events at the park.

    Cons

Some lack of organization and communication between Junior Giants workers at office and your league. Every individual league varies with their strengths and weaknesses so it's hard to state for the entire program.

    Advice to Management

Great an organized schedule with upcoming dates so ambassadors can relay to their leagues.

I have been working at San Francisco Giants full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

It can be a very fun and exciting place to work. There are opportunities to get a lot of experience and there are a lot of cool hard-working people in the company.

    Cons

Long hours, and poor work-life balance. Understaffed with a high demand for a high quantity of projects. The pay is not very competitive for the Bay Area.

I have been working at San Francisco Giants part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Being one of the first in this position since the club was just established, it was nice to be able to put in my input with my manager on ways that I thought the daily operations could run smoother. If I needed a day off, I was able to do so without too much hassle. If you are a baseball fan, it's a lot of fun just being at the ball park and enjoying the atmoshpere.

    Cons

One of the hardest challenges was the turn around between night games to day games. It was do able but made for long days. The training was pretty good, but I learned a lot more by working hands on.
