    Pros

Conducive environment for learning and professional Development. People are valued and that comes across through leadership. Great mid size company to wok for.

Acquisition to western digital has created some challenges. Scaling at the higher level brings some complex problems to solve and some leadership styles are not ideal.

    Advice to Management

Work out issues with teams, be more collaborative, break down silos and empower people to run the business. Its your responsibility to point folks in the right direction.

I have been working at SanDisk as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Amazing experience! The program gives insight into the tech industry, interns meet a lot of managers within SanDisk, and the hours are very flexible. You plan your schedule and are able to travel to different cities for events and trade shows. Lots of opportunity to improve interpersonal and time management skills. Good pay.

    Cons

This isn't a job you can go through the motions at; you must be self-motivated. Since each intern makes their own schedule, they may work weekends.

    Advice to Management

Continue to promote communication between the interns.

I have been working at SanDisk full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great team, good benefits, good culture, lots to learn. The environment is conducive to mentoring and coaching which is especially great for new graduates.

    Cons

Benefits are slightly expensive. It is hard to get in touch with management sometimes during busy periods which can get frustrating when one is not empowered to make decisions.

    Advice to Management

Make time for employees, not just direct reports but also other teams. Get to know people cross functionally. You may be able to find a great candidate for you next opening.
