    - great facilities
    - famous institute, therefore great career prospects
    - substantial funding
    - very collaborative work environment

    Cons

    - very focused on 'big' projects, difficult for students to drive their own small projects

    Great environment and infrastructures.
    Lots of possibilities of collaborators.

    Cons

    Too big, too many people working on ideas about how to make everything work better, but later each one only work by themselves
    Lot of ego

    Amazing resource
    Very intellectual people
    Ok food at campus
    Free bus to work

    Cons

    Far away from city
    Bus takes long time and only comes certain times in morning and evening

    Stimulating, great work, social campus, loads of activities to do after work, state of the art facilities and science.

    far away from cambridge city centre (30 mins bus, free shuttle)

    Pros

    Incredible open scientific environment with huge potential for staff. New developments are increasing opportunities and I am delighted to still be there after more than 10 years

    Cons

    Wages are half way between academia and commercial world. This is reasonable given the community and the flexible opportunities available

    A great place to do science with numerous facilities to make your project go forward.

    Cons

    The campus is quite remote from Cambridge (15-17 miles) and only shuttles in the morning and the evening.
