    I worked at Sanofi-Aventis part-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The product line is sturdy and formulary is good with majority of their products. Great benefits including vacation and leave.

    Cons

The solidarity of the pharmaceutical industry for sales professionals is questionable with the healthcare changes that are being made.

    Advice to Management

Keep promoting specific patient styles or types to the physicians. This creates more of an image for the physician to think of and consider your products.

    I worked at Sanofi-Aventis full-time

    Pros

learned alot, exams were challenging; culture was disorganized whip lash. direction changed week to week.

    Cons

micromanagement; difficult and confusing; did not have clarity.

    Advice to Management

Lead and grow; the rearranging of the deck chairs is not going to get the business. treat people with respect.

    I worked at Sanofi-Aventis full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

the international team worked well together respecting strengths and differences

    Cons

Incredible waste of resources for no gain to the stakeholders

    Advice to Management

The stakeholders are no longer on the radar of management, short term gains are the only paramount concern. "What do I need to do to get my bonus"

I have been working at Sanofi-Aventis full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I work with an innovative and cutting edge team. Management is willing to work with me to shape my career plan, even though it will lead me away from the team. While I am constantly being challenged to develop my skills, there is a solid support system in place to insure that I do not fail. Your growth and success will depend upon your willingness to shape your own career.

The company has become very acceptable to a flexible work environment. I am able to work from home several days per week and I have other colleagues that work from 7am - 3pm so that their commute is more manageable.

    Cons

I have a feeling that I'm being under paid and merit increases are hard fought. Still, the entire benefits package make the pay scale bearable.

    Advice to Management

Transparency on job levels and pay scale would be great. I'd love to know what exactly I need to do to get to the next level.

    Pros

    401k car and health

    Cons

Gossipy big pharma at its worst. Two faced trolls who spend more time plotting on how they can look like they had something to do with it vs, getting their own customers to write drug. A bunch of two faced gossipers who are cut throat. I'm the type of rep who had the number one sales off and on paper and would be described as a loan wolf

    Advice to Management

Philly management needs to grow up, not show favoritism with sub par performers just because they trained together. Hire reps that are older into management not young cocky individuals. The politics gossip and ack of performance by 90% of the reps within this organization should be obvious.,.. Instead of doing bunking grown adults at meetings get rid of the bottom half .... You don't need ten reps in a small territory irritating docs... Only 1 good impactful rep..,, big pharma at its worst.... Had to be out the specialty reps were stealing my commission and not doing any work..., good luck to all of the gossipers launching iglarixi.... No doubt they will be bottom of barrel

I have been working at Sanofi-Aventis (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Sanofi has incredible products. Best in class drugs. Position has decent pay and very nice Benefits. Rep positions offer you Flexibility to maintain a decent work/ life balance.

    Cons

New product launch strategy is a comic book. I have never seen a more confused sales force due to strategy set up by upper management. Company is so big it has no grasp on whats happening where rubber meets the road and its sales model is resulting in frustrations with sales force and overall underachievement of company goals. Career advancement is slow but if you know right people you can find the limited opportunities. Like with other pharma companies, sales team is always looking over their shoulder for layoffs and rumors right now are that 2016 might be a brutal year.

    I worked at Sanofi-Aventis full-time

    Pros

Benefits are good. Training was intense but you are able to know your drug.

    Cons

They said the company atmosphere has changed. It has not. Management is hard core. Up all hours doing busy work and conference calls weekly. Very micromanaged.

    Advice to Management

Managers are out for themselves. Hire people who want to help make their reps great and achieve advancement.
