Work culture, the freedom of ideas and hands on experience is amazing. The supervisors, head of departments and colleagues are very supportive. Work is appreciated and we'll compensated.

Mainly they offer only contract position and thus, no benefits. As a contractor, you cannot participate in any project meetings.

I worked at Sanofi Genzyme full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great culture, many opportunities! My manager was wonderful. Always helping me to advance my career. From what I saw, most managers were the same.

    Cons

My last year was actually 2008. At that time they were not very flexible on regarding working remotely, this is why I left. Otherwise, I would probably still be there.

    Advice to Management

Hopefully you have come around and adjusted your working remotely policies. If not, you really need to. It is not imperative to physically be in the office 5 days a week for most positions.

I worked at Sanofi Genzyme full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Benefits were very good especially leave time (vacation, sick, float days, personal days) plus company shut down for a week for Christmas/NYE. With my years, I had 8 weeks of total leave.
Working in IT from a remote location (home office in Texas), afforded great flexibility for work hours.
Pay and bonus were very good.

    Cons

Lots of turn over, confusion, and redundancy due to acquisitions and mergers with multiple companies over the last few years.
Working remotely from home left me feeling out on an island sometimes.

    Advice to Management

Streamline the various business entities to reduce confusion and redundancy.
