    patient-centric organization , clear focus on innovation

    difficult to get in, low employee turnover, limited interactions with rest of sanofi organization

    keep doing the great job, focusing on rare diseases, striving to launch life-savings treatments

    Direct supervisor was encouraging and supportive throughout internship.

    Not many intern bonding events. Hard to mix with other groups

    Having more intern events will help interns get closer and share experiences

    I have been working at Sanofi Genzyme as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

    I enjoyed working here because there was a lot of independence. There was no micro managing when given a project. Great people and management!

    Cons

    As a contract worker it is hard to move into a full time position here.

    Excellent Operational management. Growing company with a great diverse international impact.

    Cons

    New location is difficult to get to by taking the commuter rail as it stops at Kendal square and the EZ bus does not go all the way to where Genzyme is now located on Memorial Blvd

    Advice to Management

    Purchase the benefit of the EZ Bus for commuters.

    Pros

    Great company to work for with great experienced people to work with. A lot of room to grow and there is always something to learn.

    Cons

    A big company sometimes takes too long to overcome minor tasks. Red tape can sometimes very apparent in the bio tech industry.

    Advice to Management

    Allow for younger personnel who are generally very eager to grow to actually do that. If not then the time spent training these people will be lost when they leave.

    You were able to make solid commissions on top of competitive salaries.When you have a medical/biopharmaceutical job, your boss makes your job. I was always blessed to have smart and supportive bosses with Genzyme.

    Cons

    Major leadership changes occurred from the corporate level.
