I worked at Sanofi US full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great benefits (3 weeks vacation to start) and people you work with. Products are generally market leaders.

    Cons

Senior leadership has changed a lot in the past several years and have come from outside the organization. Culture is talked about but it's lip-service. Direction changes frequently and confidence is low as a result. Leadership has unrealistic expectations of the market for the new products and the reality of pharma sales in 2017.

    Advice to Management

Stop getting consultant reports and talk openly with you teams. Treat leaders like leaders and be honest on the struggles. Do exit interviews and learn why people are leaving (better pay, better culture, more opportunities).
