I worked at Santa Clara University part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Working for the SCU Dev office was one of the most beneficial and valuable growing experiences I've ever had. Worked with a staff who fully supported me and provided and wonderful team atmosphere. The leadership from Casey Lerner was fantastic.

    Cons

I have no negative criticism. I would recommend the option to work at the Development Office to anyone.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work. You are molding young adults in a fantastic way and sucessfully preparing them for the workforce.

    Pros

Not bad on the pay scale, and got to work with an awesome professor.

    Cons

It really depends on who you work for. Some professors provide great practical experience while some are really only looking for folks to do their citations.

    Pros

Very motivated and bright students which make working there as an adjunct professor a real joy. A majority of students have good work experience in Silicon Valley companies. The campus is very beautiful and staff is extremely helpful. Very nice place to work.

    Cons

The pay is pretty minimal. In addition, the campus is extremely liberal and not what I would consider as holding "Catholic" values.

I have been working at Santa Clara University part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I loved the work I did. My supervisor was friendly and helpful and provided me with valuable professional experience. I would work with him again.

    Cons

They were awful about getting my payment account set up. I had to interact multiple times with human resources and was not paid for the first two months.

    Advice to Management

Get people in HR who can efficiently set up payroll. This is an employment lawsuit waiting to happen.
