I have been working at Santander full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This place doesnt care about anyone. You will be just a number to complete a nonsense task that will drive you nuts. You will be so confused when you work there. I read a review from an employer saying be ready to pick up a showel, forget the showel you will need a tractor to clean up the mess and once you done so they will bring back the mess again and tell you now do it with a showel and once you will be done with the showel they will tell you have no idea what you are doing. The truth is the place is so messy that the upper management has no clue themselves what to do, what direction to go and why. Be wware of the culture too. Is the toughest culture you will ever face in a coporate seting.

    Cons

They are very greedy to establish a brand name in usa, I do not see them as a business to be worth standing on top of their competitors. I do not see them offering any good products to the customers. Just run away do not walk away. You will be happy not joining this bank

    Advice to Management

You getting paid very well for giving ides that fail every year why you are called a management?

I have been working at Santander full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Used to be a good place to work. No longer.

    Cons

Very few women or minorities in management position. Santander openly discriminates against women and minorities. Director FP&A Jon never talks to the women or minorities. You request a conference call, and he does not reply at all. Jon wants he "guys" around him. Terrible place to work. The "guys" do not do any work and walk out the door at 4:30 everyday. Place is a big joke. Guys do not have to come to work.

    Advice to Management

Fire those employees who do not come to work and do no work at all.

    I worked at Santander full-time

    Pros

Co-workers, the customers, and the schedule.

    Cons

Low paying job with a lot of stress. The sales goals were unrealistic. This often led to employees opening up accounts for their friends and family.

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees fairly and be reasonable with goals.

I have been working at Santander full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Room for growth, fare salary but good incentive plan. Many trainings available if BM allows you to attend and wants you to grow- ways to work with other partners and learn other roles as possible career paths.
One on one trainings/workshops available for current role with great support from wholesalers and facilitators.
On boarding is quick and trainings are simulation based so get a feel of what it'll be once you are live at a branch.

    Cons

If you stuck with a bad BM upper management won't do much about it. Even though training is simulation you learn most of the job and the system while you are at a branch.

    Advice to Management

Listen to all employees and be fare
