Pros
- Work closely with incredibly bright people both in sales and consulting - Great training provided internally, as well as access to external material directly from SAP -The approach to sales/marketing that Sapphire has is what every company should adopt. Sales and marketing team truly go hand in hand and collaborate constantly - Flexibility to work remotely if needed - Internal development is clearly very important at Sapphire, they want to help you increase your knowledge and skill set and work with you to create a path to success - Trip to London was a very cool experience - The culture in the NY office is fantastic, everyone comes in focused to get their work done, while also still being available to help out if there are any questions. There are essentially no distractions and a very team like atmosphere - This role has a lot more responsibility then other other BD role out there, which is great because it shows the value a business development rep can bring to the sales process, as well as empowering them to advance their product knowledge and knowledge of the sales process
Cons

Pros
No accountability if you're just looking to breeze through life You can work from home most of the time and avoid having to go into the awfully dated office
Cons
Going through redundancies so now is a terrible time to join Used to have yearly pay rises but now it's a case of begging and being refused Owned by a large capital investment company that pull the strings and prioritise their own return on investment The capital investment company moved into the London office because it's in the Shard and put up a literal wall of cabinets between themselves and the Sapphire employees so they don't have to mix The general office culture is awful. It's incredibly cliquey

Pros
Some good people to work for but most have left and the rest will be gone soon. Nice new shiny office.
Cons
Constant knee jerk reactions to situations. Project management is shocking and don't seem to understand the basic principles of projects. Promotions based on being friends with senior management and lies constantly told.
4 - 5.0Feb 15, 2017SalesCurrent Employee, more than 8 yearsLondon, England
Pros
- Customer care is embedded in the veins of Sapphire and it's employees which I like - No 1 Partner status for Infor & SunSystems over the years is certainly well deserved - The Shard is a nice office to work in and benefits for employees are excellent ie Shard Membership, Fitness first subsidy, Perk Box, Pension etc - There is not a complex Management structure like you find in the big corporates and your ideas are considered and often implemented - I agree with the other comments, there is no place to hide and cruise. You have to work hard and you will reap the benefits. Open plan office and Directors work amongst the employees - The company throughout it's growth has always maintained a friendly team culture and values it's employees - Individuals training needs are catered for and progression is encouraged - I have no hesitation recommending Sapphire
Cons
I cannot think of any

Pros
- Cares about learning and training opportunities to develop skills - Strong team culture across own team and other department - Office environment and benefits e.g. subsidised gym membership, Perkbox, private medical insurance - Forward thinking and leading SAP and Infor software partner - Transparency from Senior Management - Excellent work life balance
Cons
- Nothing so far that I could share at this point
3 - 1.0Feb 28, 2017SAP Business One ConsultantFormer Employee, more than 1 yearLondon, England
Pros
1.Exposure to some great experience both national and international 2.The opportunity work along side some great talented people 3.Head office is in a prestigious building 4.Free alcohol on a Friday evening 5.average rates of pay 6. Good to use as a stepping stone for your career
Cons
1. Project planning is a shambles - the PM's haven't got the foggiest and it is apparent people that are well liked get promoted (this is not due to talent but more due to being teachers pet) 2. Customers get charged for consultants travel time and over time if any - Sapphire do not always pay this to the consultant (daylight robbery!) 3.The management are up tight, extremely two faced, smug and unfair, if you dare to challenge them they will find away to get rid of you using the 2 year rule of not being able to claim unfair dismissal. 4. They now source a lot of their consultants from out side of the EU thinking that they will not be able to work for anyone else in country due to sponsor ship. They work these people like dogs only recently they have been proven wrong as two of them now got jobs with a competitor who was clearly more than happy to sponsor them. 5.No career progression if you are not in with the crowd. 6.No working from home, admin days must be in the office - ridiculous when you are out on site all week travelling up and down the country. 7. Disciplinary happy - HR - what exactly do they do? Contracts are templates so its just editing the name and printing this out - as they have nothing to do - they invest their time in trying to sack innocent people. Will be interesting to see how their tribunal cases go. They clearly over spent on hiring people - sacking random people and lying that it was because their performance was poor is not the way. What happened to old fashioned redundancies? IF it was under the two year rule you would have had to pay anything out at all. Instead you would rather save face and get a flourish of bad reviews instead!

Pros
Really nice colleagues, excellent working environment, office in the Shard , work life balance is perfect and uncapped holidays.
Cons
No cons for working at this company

Pros
Improvements in the benefits. Death in Service, private healthcare, increased holiday from 23 to 25 days as default; still only statutory sick pay. If in London, lovely office at the Shard and excellent transport links. The ERG initiatives are really good, particularly around what they do with the local schools. A few people trying to do the right thing.
Cons
Too many! Culture not great - blame game, no ownership; delivery is poor and you work long hours with little reward - moving targets with regards to bonus. Disconnect between departments, feeling of sell and we will figure it out, not great for the customer. Many new starters do not stay very long (mainly the good ones leave) and lots leave within a year or so which is telling - redundancies to drive cheaper resources in to off-shore locations or roles merged to save costs. Promises get made to the staff and they fail to deliver, example office closures, unlimited holiday, work from anywhere. PE company influence is very telling, hit targets at all costs regardless of the people fall out. Advice: Avoid unless you want to get some SAP exposure on your resume.
