    Great team in Production Control.

I worked at Sargent Controls & Aerospace full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Benefits is the only good thing about that company.

    Cons

Terrible leadership. Some leads try to ruin peoples' reputation and lied about them creating a hostile environment. HR department is a joke, some people in other companies would be fire for their actions, here they just get a slap in the wrist. Women are discriminated in some positions. To get FAA qualification you need to be a family member or a very good friend of the FAA guys, otherwise you will not get that qualification. When the owner goes to visit the leaders show him what he needs to see only. When they order food for everybody, the management do not care if people from second shift get some food as well. No room for improvement. That is the worst company I have ever worked.

    Advice to Management

They need to listen to the workers and pay them well.

I have been working at Sargent Controls & Aerospace full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There is great growth potential if you are willing to show up and work hard everyday to separate yourself.

    Cons

Unless you advance to higher job positions there is very low outlook for pay increase

I worked at Sargent Controls & Aerospace full-time

    Pros

    I wasn't unemployed for 5 months

    Cons

I spoke of additional drills will be needed- they NEVER got any. They do not have all necessary tools to do the job efficiently.

    Advice to Management

LEARN how to manage. Folk that have been there for 20 years are not the 'good' employees. Supervisors understand paperwork- aint got a CLUE what goes on on the shop floor.

I have been working at Sargent Controls & Aerospace full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The people here are great to work with. Always very helpful and friendly. The schedule is great, love the 1/2 day Fridays.

    Cons

There are numerous hoops and red tape that you have to jump through to get anything approved. There is a serious lack of communication and cooperation among management, which makes everyone else's job more difficult as they are receiving conflicting information from multiple managers. The company lacks vision and any type of progression planning for employees.

    Advice to Management

Meet regularly, with all parties that have a steak in the discussions and decisions that will affect them. The one off conversations to make important decisions are not working well for anyone involved in providing a deliverable.
