      Doesn't Recommend
      Negative Outlook

I worked at Sauder School of Business

      Pros

The campus is beautiful, but Sauder upper management is an example of selfish ego driven hacks who couldn't cut it in the private sector.

      Cons

To describe the working environment of this place as "toxic" is an insult to perfectly fine barrels of nuclear waste.

      Advice to Management

When staff shows proof of sexually derogatory language during FROSH 2012, "kids will be kids" is not an appropriate response.

I have been working at Sauder School of Business full-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

      - worklife balance - good benefits - nice people

      Cons

      - wages too far below UBC overall and industry as a whole - to many long term individuals who could benefit from industry experience - lack challenge - somewhat union environment - lack a structured review process for staff - sorely needed

      Advice to Management

Focus more on holding team members accountable and bring salaries up to industry standard. People just don't want to stay.
