I have been working at Sbarro full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Sbarro has very nice crew members, Costumer service is easy, and the cleaning is simple. It also has a simple everyday routine.

    Cons

The costumer to corporate rules in making a transaction does not make sense. Cashiers are prohibited from making new order charges for the costumers.

    Advice to Management

Probably a good idea to not hire more than enough people because there are less hours to go around.

    Advice to Management

listen to the team on site, as they are in a better position to assess the overall operations and suggest what could be done to enhance customer service, menu, food quality, just to name a few.

    Pros

Free food! as well as a great work environment depending on who you work with

I have been working at Sbarro full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

You will have a greater appreciation for your free time and this job will force you to grow as a person. You will also learn what its like to do everything the hard way.

    Cons

Terribly long hours, constantly being understaffed, consistent call outs, completely unorganized upper management that constantly sends you contradictory messages, director of operations or DO's are consistently rude and will berate you. Long conference calls that accomplish nothing besides giving the Dog's an opportunity to yell at everyone in their market at the same time. They literally have a safery newsletter with pictures of employees not following safety regulations or dress code policies and they are managers and safety ambassadors who are supposed to ensuring that these things do not happen. There is tons of paperwork and no time to do it it's almost like they do it intentionally so when they are done with you they can fire you for not filling out the proper paperwork.

    Advice to Management

My advice to the higher ups would be take care of your employees stop ignoring complaints against management. Switch to a new business model your CEO literally said in a interview that the company uses an outdated business model and is not sustainable. So adapt make food to order instead of having it sit out all day because let's be honest here you know as well as I do no one follows the 2 hour hold time especially when your dos consistently complain about waste and food cost. yet the CEO says that those things are not an issue.

I have been working at Sbarro full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy to manage, fast paced so its something always to do and I love working morning shift.

    Cons

Always short staffed., no one wants to work with certain management.

    Advice to Management

Treat the youngsters as adults and not kids, they applied and got hired so teach them the way Sbarro wants the store operated.
