    Pros

Good free food, opportunity to meet great people and the opportunity to move up in management. Minimum wage pay for an easy and repetitive job

    Cons

Not being able to use my phone, very minimum breaks and not being able to sit down after working for hours at a time

    Advice to Management

Give a little leeway to the minimum wage employers

I worked at Sbarro part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I learned some valuable tips while working there. Its ok for what it is. I liked the people I worked with on a day to day basis.

    Cons

I was hired to be a manager, but they have a screening process, wherein if you have ever been on public assistance they would not allow a person like that in their management line-up. In former years I had been a single mother who needed help. So they snatched that away, and I ended up in a position I had not agreed to. I did not stay long.

    Advice to Management

Your backward attitudes are discriminatory toward women, and therefore limit you.

I worked at Sbarro full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    -Flexible scheduling
    -Coworkers were like family

    Cons

Long hours, little to no appreciation, black shirts and pants in front of 550 degree oven, rarely fixed anything that was broken (or just took forever. Six and a half years with no AC, 2 years with never turning off the steamer unless it was the end of the day and we just unplugged it. Extremely ridiculous.)

    Advice to Management

-Stop looking for mistakes and appreciate hard work and dedication.
-Quit predatory style sales techniques if the products are made right the customers will comeback, pushing only makes them go away
    - Don't come in to critique once every other month and tell us everything that's wrong with our location, put on a crispy clean apron to run the register for 15-20 minutes, eat lunch and leave by 4 pm. Everyone needs constructive criticism to improve, but when you're barking orders and making demands without knowing how or what that specific store requires to run on a daily basis is extremely bothersome. Even more so when they didn’t even know how to make what they were trying to sell.
-Go work in your stores for a month and see what it is like trying to sell someone a $5 slice of pizza that has been sitting there for hours. Then YOU try to sell them a combo, large upgrade, dipping sauce and tell me how it feels to get harassed by your customers.

    Pros

    -Flexible Scheduling
    -Free food
    -Some good coworkers

    Cons

    -Over worked, under paid
-Very easy to get some pretty major burns
    -Upper management constantly changing direction/menu

    Advice to Management

Compensate your long term employees fairly instead of hiring outside at higher rates than your current employees

I have been working at Sbarro full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great employees, great management, corporate is run well, great benefits. I think the company over all is very fantastic.

    Cons

Honestly, there is not much for cons. I think the one and only con I would submit is the pay, I do believe those in the higher positions should be getting paid better.

    Advice to Management

I would say, pay the people well and the people will work harder than they would if they were making bottom dollar. Pay shouldn't be everything but in this time in society, it's all people are really looking at (as well as great leadership)

I worked at Sbarro part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Easy job
    Met some cool people
Easy to move forward in position
Can't really think of any other pros, there weren't many

    Cons

    Poor management
    Low wages
    Company doesn't care for you
Job titles given just for the hell of it, had a manger want to give a former co worker a manager position because he didn't want to be there anymore

    Advice to Management

PAY your workers the money they deserve. It's not our fault you guys have gone bankrupt due (and have closed down many locations) to over priced not so great food. You guys are having people drop like flies because you simply do not care for us workers. That is why I quit. Due to personal reasons , managers that didn't care for us and didn't appreciate our work.

    Pros

If free food is worth staying at a job, this ones for you.

    Cons

My favorite part was struggling during busy hours because besides weekends there were usually only 2 employees at a time, and then still having upper management complain about being over hours

    Advice to Management

    Stop being so cheap
