    Pros

Good stable company, never bored, always different aspects to job and support different functions. Opportunities for development and growth

    Cons

Old mindset 8-5 job, not flexible schedules through HR, overwhelmingly busy and can be stressful.

    Advice to Management

More encouragement to employees , and to allow for more flexible schedules or to work from home from time to time

I have been working at Schaeffler Group full-time

    Pros

Good support from the management. Better as compared to other companies in case of employees retention in slow economy.

    Cons

Internal Systems are not well setup. A lot of scope for improvement
Everything is driven from Germany and there are very few locations where local authority is final. Less than average salaries.

    Advice to Management

Instead to focusing on just profit, please focus on improving internal systems and especially train employees for better project cost management.

I have been working at Schaeffler Group full-time

    Pros

Always have projects to work on. Company is rapidly expanding and beginning to look towards the future with automation. Great company to start out at.

    Cons

Too many hoops to jump through to get anything done. Some times work load is too much due to lack of personnel.

    Advice to Management

Hire more engineers to improve current production and reduce red tape to go through for purchasing approvals, capital approvals, etc.

I have been working at Schaeffler Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Good benefits and steady pay.

    Cons

Be prepared to work every day. There is no semblance of a rotation in my department and people work weeks with no day off. I am forced to use my vacation days and have even gotten them denied so I have no choice but to take an attendance point because I'm tired and need a break.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees better. Give them time off so they can work more efficiently. Otherwise, what do the employees have to look forward to? They have no incentive to work hard for the company.
