Pros
Used to be a lot of good people, you weren't all friends but the job got done and the Christmas parties & seminars kept us all on the same team. It was intense and rewarding in a lot of ways. Got to work on a lot of great projects.
Cons
New leadership leaves something to be desired - doesn't know how to support their people in the field. Parent company is full of micromanagers and doesn't seem to understand how to do business in NY. "What happens on the job stays on the job" mentality only got worse over the years, never seemed to learn from our mistakes.

They use to be a great place until Dragados got involved.
Cons
No leadership, no communication, parent company Dragados calls the shots and all they care about is money. Employees are nothing to them. They walk past you like you are an empty coffee cup on the sidewalk. People retire after 30 yrs and not a word is mentioned. Execs make $500k but employees can’t get bonuses or raises unless they threaten to quit. Only a matter of time before the company goes under. They already have a horrible rep in the construction industry.

Schiavone was a great company till they got bought out by Dragados USA. People at Schiavone are great to work with but can't say the same when it comes to the parent company Dragados.
