I worked at Schnake Turnbo Frank (Less than a year)

    Pros

STF provided a terrific learning environment for interns. Interns received hands-on experience, directly worked with clients and got to attend client meetings. The company clearly values its employees, work/life balance and its employee's families.

    Cons

The internship is part-time. I would advise accomplishing the internship during the school year if you're looking for a full-time internship during the summer.

    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

good look into the world of public relations in a small city, a lot of connections to Oklahoma executives, good introduction to social media

    Cons

not properly trained but expected to simply know everything already, only negative feedback, lack of communication from superiors, do not like offering part-time positions

    Advice to Management

Communicate better with interns, include interns in more meetings, outings, goings on in the company. Give less busy work. Offer part-time opportunities.
