    Pros

Living in Costa Mesa is wonderful and the management team knows that you want to have time to enjoy the weather and the beaches. The hours are standard for a sales position, a little long and very involved, but they are worth it.

    Cons

A lot of time spent on the phone instead of in front of customers, but the work place is very relaxed and the people are great so it makes the day go by fast.

    Advice to Management

Allow employees more vacation time during the their first year so that they can have more time enjoying their youth!

I have been working at Schneider Electric full-time

    Pros

Office has grown substantially over past 3-4 years, allowing for signicant career advancement for many, consistent bonuses and great camaraderie. The culture is fantastic, never worked with more people that wanted to succeed and focused on teamwork. Customers and employees are definitely the priority.

    Cons

Nothing other than minor stuff that comes with every job.

    Advice to Management

Keep on doing what you're doing!

I have been working at Schneider Electric full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Very diverse company with lots of opportunities if you seek them out. Vision of the company is exciting and enabling.

    Cons

Big company can be hard to network/navigate. Some processes and policies seem outdated (for isntance, IE 7.0 is still the standard web-browser). Politics can get in the way of productivity, like in most big companies.

    Advice to Management

Continue to invest in younger and more diverse workforce, and find more ways to develop middle management into new leaders.

I have been working at Schneider Electric full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Schneider Electric is taking Pelco from a big Ma and Pa Shop to a top notch security video company.
Less people with same amount of works being done.

    - Customers being #1 priority
    - Quality Driven
    - Lean Manufacturing Focus
    -

    Cons

Miss the good old Pelco points and food delivered to your desk service.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work.

I have been working at Schneider Electric full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Schneider is big on moving people around, if that is what they want. There are numerous opportunities in the company, both domestic and international. Schneider promotes working at home, career growth and treats their employees as valueable assets.

    Cons

Like most large companies, process and politics can sometimes be a challenge but management allows debate and counter points of view.

    Advice to Management

Continue to listen to your employees, maintain your family/work life balance policy and continue to promote from within when possible
