Pros
It's a good place to start your career and learn about transportation, especially in STM and on the sales side. Leadership is really great at leading you. Is a really good work life balance and they will definitely work with you. And if you need a 'mental health day' or there's a huge life change that requires time off work -they will work with you and encourage you to take care of yourself. And it's not just management, everyone will pick up your slack and encourage you to take care of yourself.
Cons
Doesn't pay as much as other companies. Still a good base pay, but once you get 2-3 years experience it's a really good idea to go to another company because you will get paid more. Management does play favorites sometimes. It's a lot of work and emotional labor. And if you bring up that you're overwhelmed they'll tell you they're proud of you and that they can't change anything. Also, the Green Bay office makes less base salary than the Chicago and Dallas office. It's best not to try making much change here, but work hard in your position and do the same in whatever position you have.

Pros
Nothing really to say other than my customer was the best part of the job.
Cons
Pay to work hours was horrible. 15 hour day for nearly 3 years and when I asked about a work life balance I was told we all work long hours. countless managers during my time there. Good Old Boy promotion system if your not in you are absolutely out. Insurance is out of pocket until deductible is met. Deductible was $4000 but you get $500 for annual registration so you only pay $3500 out of pocket.

Pros
The training at Schneider is fantastic and overall the atmosphere is fun-- which it needs to be when you're sitting at a desk 9 + hours every day cold-calling. Pay is decent for a green grad with no experience.
Cons
Work life balance is non-existent there. The hours are 7-4 but they expect you to arrive at 6:30 and leave at 5 at the earliest. They aren't very forthcoming when it comes to your employment status--yes, when hired you are a full-time employee but if you don't make your numbers after 3 months they fire you. Something like this NEEDS to be stated during the interview process. Essentially to make it there you need to eat, breath, and sleep Schneider (and buy a polo shirt with their logo on it.) You really have to be okay with doing the exact same thing everyday, which for me personally was hell.

Pros
For a trucking Company they do a great job of treating there people right. Training towards leadership and a positive culture is one of the best things that they do.
Cons
If you care about your job and results you get worked to the bone with little support. If you look at your job as just a job then manage a work life balance is ok.
