- Former Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Lots of smart people to work with and learn from, location in Midtown is fairly easy to get to , equipment is new and well maintained. Technology is up to date, more or less.
Cons
Lots of turmoil resulting from the merger, a little too much office politics. lots of small company niceness was lost

Pros
It was a job. I was able to perform some testing to test the software on potential users.
Cons
It seemed a bit too political there for me.

A good organization, but suffers from excessive politics and fear of change

the hours are very reasonable, and you can work from home. The technology is a bit dated, but is better than other places I have worked. You get to work around a lot of other developers and very smart people. There is a strong commitment to developing things locally, with off shoring only in certain limited areas.
Cons
The culture is very meetings heavy, easily eating 2 - 4 hours out of every day. this is can be extremely frustrating. its also really odd for an organization that calls itself "agile". There is a lot of fear of change and a belief that more meetings will reduce risk. lastly, priorities shift and change sometimes too quickly, which result is wasteful interruption. Between the excessive meetings and constant priority changes, I sometimes wonder how any work gets done.

Company is in competitive space with a decent offering but suffers from poor leadership and poor execution.

If you know someone at the top, you will do fine.
Cons
Environment is full of distrust, silo'd departments, imbalances in power based on personalities. Some folks do not have technology backgrounds but are in leadership positions (in a technology company). This leads to subpar decisions regarding investments and solutions. Business model is heavy on the services side, light on the solution side.
