    I worked at Schroeder & Tremayne full-time

    Pros

Vacation time, compensation is above average

    Cons

Not a "team" atmosphere, everyone is on their own, not asked for input for own position, there definitely does need to be another layer of management, overall atmosphere is very unhappy

    Advice to Management

Be nice, create a happier atmosphere, care more about employees

I have been working at Schroeder & Tremayne full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The team at S&T is wonderful to work with.
    Family owned and family-like feel.
Employees are passionate about their positions and seem genuinely happy to be here (friendly environment).
    Employees are dedicated.
Everyone is challenged to do their best.
People work well together across departments and levels.
    Competitive Pay and good benefits.

    Cons

There is no hand-holding (not a lot of training). It's kind of sink or swim. Must be driven and self-motivated.

    Pros

A great mix of young and seasoned professionals. Overall a smart group of individuals. Everyone is highly motivated and gets along fairly well.
Family owned - the owner is a great person and quite the sage.
    Every day brings something different.
A lot of long time employees which really gives a sense of loyalty

    Cons

Not a lot of room for upward mobility. They need to add another layer of management.
