I worked at Scribe Solutions part-time

    Pros

    - Possibly the best job you can have as a pre-medical student

    - Very flexible hours which is good for undergraduate students who have class schedules

    - Management was very responsive to all questions and concerns

    Cons

    - Unstructured training and a large learning curve

    - Not a good option for long-term career. Low wage, no benefits, limited opportunities for advancement

    Advice to Management

Re-evaluate your training program and incorporate more training activities throughout employment

I worked at Scribe Solutions full-time

    Pros

The experience and access to physicians, PAs and ARNPs make this position worth it alone. The scheduling is semi flexible depending on your coworkers and managers

    Cons

Management of the whole company itself is terrible. They have the most makeshift interviewing process, making it easy for less than qualified individuals to join and making it harder for senior/training scribes who have to pick up the slack.

    Advice to Management

    Restructure...A LOT.

I have been working at Scribe Solutions part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The pros are that you get great ER experience and get to work with some great doctors.

    Cons

Management in Jacksonville is absolutely terrible. They will do anything to reduce your paycheck and do not communicate efficiently at all.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Scribe Solutions part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great clinical experience. The pros for this job have nothing to do with the company. It would be a pro if I were employed by the hospital themselves.

    Cons

Company does not care about their scribes..they will schedule you hours you cannot work and then won't respond when you ask for it to be changed. Their communication is absolutely terrible. The way they log their hours..they will not pay you appropriately for over time and holidays. You have to pay for your own uniforms. Require you to pay for titers, which are expensive, even if you have immunization records and do not refund you.

I worked at Scribe Solutions part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Job is fun, great for pre-med, pre-PA, and nursing students. Get to work with different doctors and get different perspectives.

    Cons

You work with a different doctor every time so you don't always get to know one very well. Management in Jacksonville is disorganized and unprofessional. Also, they skew the way they record your hours so you often don't get paid time & a half when you're supposed to.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees better and pay appropriate amounts.
