I have been working at Sea Island full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

My coworkers typically work very hard and all put in very long hours when required.

    Cons

I was once scheduled a 36 hour shift., meaning my second shift began before my first one ended. You're required to ride the bus, but you don't get paid for that time, which takes around 40 minutes a day out of pay from my pocket. You have to request holidays off up to a year in advance, and even when they'll give them to you, they'll work you until midnight the night before. They will work you until you are literally sick with exhaustion, and then they will berate you when you perform poorly. I have been here for 7 years and if anywhere in town paid as well, I would be gone in a heartbeat.

    Advice to Management

Quit expecting your staff to perform at peak when you can't even hire enough people to get them out of the office before midnight.

I have been working at Sea Island full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

When it's busy the pay comes in great, Also the people around you are fun to work with. One a good day work can fly by

    Cons

When it's slow you'll be trying to live off of whatever you made during the busy season and at times the co workers/management can get a little catty. This can turn small issues into big ones amongst the employees.

    Advice to Management

Everyone should be held accountable. From the top of the chain to the bottom.
