    Pros

The employee perks are awesome. You get free admission in to Sea World, Aquatica, Busch Gardens AND Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure. You get discounts and free parking at Sea World parks. Plus employee preview nights.

Once I got to go behind the scenes at Sea World and see some of the new animals they had rescued, it was really cool.

    Cons

You are outside all the time and it can get very hot.

I have been working at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The pay is pretty good for a seasonal job. For the summer of 2012, seasonal employees are getting paid $9.25 for a sales clerk. Photo makes about a dollar more/hr. Everyone there is so chill, which is why I would understand some people say their "management" is not very professional because the Assistant Supervisors are around the same age as most of employees so they're very relatable. I LOVE the employee lounges, they have two. They always have a special entree and give you complimentary drinks every day.

I'm definitely coming back next season hopefully to get Assistant Supervisor.

    Cons

None. There is a 4 day unrestricted availability for summer, but thats why they hire you. To work during the summer, so its understandable.

I have been working at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The benefits, vacation and paid time off SeaWorld offer's their team members is incredible. Also, the open door policy is embodied by all levels of management. They listen to team member suggestions and implement what they feel will benefit the company.

    Cons

If you are looking for a Monday to Friday job this isn't it. It's great to know you are helping families create incredible memories but sometimes you miss out on making your own family memories because you are at work on a holiday.

    Advice to Management

(Merchandise) Please please please please please, listen to your cashiers! They are the ones that are always on the sales floor and communicating with customers. They know what customers want and are always asking for! Find a way to communicate with the cashiers and figure out what is wanted.

    Pros

Management cares, most if not all of Seaworld's management has been in your position at one time or another. So most of them are willing to work with you.

    Cons

Customers are the devil, they generally take advantage of Seaworlds non-confrontational style and get away with it.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the work.
Make sure you remain cognizant of the difficulties your employees face.
