I have been working at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You do get free tickets and cheap food is available when you are on break. Sea world itself does care about you and it’s animals.

    Cons

It’s in the heat and you’ll get uneven tans all the time. You will always need sun screen, however they provide some really bio friendly sun screen that’s not so great. Not everyone speaks English in Park

    Advice to Management

    Get rid of senior guards

I worked at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Work schedule flexibility
    - Able to walk people into the parks
    - Almost every worker and manager in Corporate IT is great to work with and very good at their job. They keep the place running in spite of senior leadership.

    Cons

    - Management really doesn't know how to use developers efficiently, and they don't really care if they're happy.
    - Pay is below market rate, no bonuses in years, no raises, perpetual hiring freeze, no room for advancement.
    - A Director recently told someone "you can't apply for that promotion because I need you in your current job".
    - The senior leadership in Corporate IT is completely incompetent at their job.
There's a new fire every day, so it's impossible to do your job right. Even after agreeing to stop doing that, there's another on the next day (but THIS time it's different, yeah right).
    - Since it's not really a large company or a small company, it's the worst of both worlds. They have the bureaucracy of a large company with the budget of a small one. It's just awkward.

    Advice to Management

Fire all of the Directors and above (except the BI director), and bring in new blood that knows how to run IT. Have your HR department get a backbone and strongly encourage promoting from within, for the few positions that are available.
