I worked at Sealed Air Corporation full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Sealed Air had good benifits and decent pay. I like majority of my coworkers and I had a amazing boss

    Cons

Offices moved to Charlotte, North Carolina. Because of the move the company lost a lot of good and loyal employees for out of scope posotions or employees not wanting to relocate.

I worked at Sealed Air Corporation full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Lower level employees are loyal and helpful. VP's at Corporate level are admirable, but are not empowered to make a difference. Great corporate campus.

    Cons

CEO has his favorite...and if you don't align to her viewpoint you are put the door. Worst three months of my career.

    Advice to Management

    Get rid of the CEO.

Technology very behind the times 1st and 2nd level management no original ideas will only do what they are told and are afraid to make waves.

Open office environment not work friendly.

I have been working at Sealed Air Corporation full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Lots of potential. Great products. Excellent people who have worked in the trenches for years.

    Cons

Employees being over worked and under appreciated. Make goals or you lose your job.

    Advice to Management

Be realistic on goals and expectations. Just because you "say" something doesn't mean it is possible or realistic. You have cut beyond "lean" - now anorexic and you expect those left to do the work of all those heads you cut. They were good employees.

I have been working at Sealed Air Corporation full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Beautiful new campus, new technology

    Cons

Weak leaders in this division. Thoughtless decisions show a leadership not up to its role.
Confused strategies embraced just to show immediate results. No concern for building long-term ones.
Retaining only robot-like hires and getting rid of the smartest. No interest to use their potential and contribution to the company's best interest.

    Advice to Management

Better understand people and their value before their numbers. Trust the smartest not the dumb ones.

    Pros

This company is an excellent company. I work for their Diversey Care division and they have been nothing but good to me!

    Cons

All opportunities to grow within the company are not necessarily visible. Would benefit from events / sessions that describe different employee roles and career paths.

    Advice to Management

Continue to work on development towards employee career paths. Good job now, but I think this is a constant area of improvement for any company.

I have been working at Sealed Air Corporation full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Entry salary aligned to national average. Decent bonus potential. Ability to work from home (will be dependent on managerial structure).

    Cons

Company undergoing major transition with relocation to Charlotte and implementing culture change. Will likely be a rocky few years of transition. Senior management makes decisions that leave you scratching your head, makes you wonder if there really is a top level strategy. Why begin relocating Diversey employees to Charlotte, and then in the middle of their relocation announce that you are selling Diversey? Decisions by management with lack of transparency has been stressful on individuals and families.

    Pros

The have an expensive cafeteria in the office. People are nice and friendly but they just complain a lot. The sales team is great.

    Cons

Management doesn't have a clue, lack of innovation, work life balance is unfair. You never get the bonus they say you get because they only pay out 50-70% because they set unrealistic company goals.

    Advice to Management

    Invest in your people
