I worked at Search Consultancy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Worked at Search for 2 years! and really enjoyed it! They genuinely care about there employees. From the amazing Christmas Parties to the little gifts (such as Water bottles) its nice to see a company really make a difference.
The office culture was great too, every Friday, the entire office would finish early and have a Beer in the boardroom and discuss there successes of the week.

    Cons

    Cons out weighed the pros

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up.

I worked at Search Consultancy full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Experience and training given are excellent
Opportunities available if you work hard can be fantastic
If you have the right manager and their support you can go very far and earn a lot of money doing so!

    Cons

Company has changed a lot over the years and not necessarily for the better
A lot of personnel changes/revolving doors resulting in inconsistency of service for some clients and adding more pressure on the longer term members of staff

    Advice to Management

Listen to your leavers via the Leavers Surveys- some are non regretted leavers granted, but not all, and there will be a consistency in the messages being given.

I worked at Search Consultancy full-time

    Pros

    Not a very good experience

    Cons

    The worst buSniess ever worked

    Advice to Management

Search have no interest in tying to get people employed. When big companies come along they just give the job to anyone. Every time of contact they say there’s no jobs but there about 50 on indeed and other job websites. Plus when working with them you don’t support you what’s so ever, they pay you wrong and tax you more than normal businesses do there a con and there good at it. If you work for search. Don’t work for search.

I worked at Search Consultancy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Other friendly team members.
    Payroll is efficient.

    Cons

Sexist towards woman, particularly in Trades & Labour
    Stuck in the 60s

    Advice to Management

There is no management, purely left to your own devices, however, told to sit at desk and make endless, untargetted calls (Very archaic attitude towards recruitment methods)

The HR Department allow managers to sack you, even when out of probation, for no actual reason. Very bizarre place to work.

Extremely high turn over staff (even for recruitment), the picture they posted in the Leicester Mercury showed 11 out of 12 ex-staff members -embarassing.

    Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

I worked at Search Consultancy full-time

    Pros

Im still searching for a job... but i definitely wont be using them!

    Cons

I was made aware that a male member of your team in the manchester branch adds girls on whatsapp and uses it as a dating platform. He sends the same messages to them all. Surely this is against data protection? He never even put them up for any jobs. I know this happened to some other girls not so long ago.

    Advice to Management

might want to keep a check on what your staff are up to.
