Having to offer credit card applications in todays economy with sale pitches. Also having to convince customers to add extended warranties that were more than an actual item.

I worked at Sears full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good People to work with in most locations. Usually provided good work/life balance. Always approved requested time off/vacations.

    Cons

There is too many metrics to try to achieve goals for. Hours cut in support positions throughout the store including management.

    Advice to Management

Cut back on all the metrics. Just stick with rewards and credit. Also there is too many different programs you trying to make relevent. Most people don't have a use for them yet.
