I worked at Seattle Genetics full-time
Pros
Valuable experience for someone interested in a cancer research laboratory or going to graduate school.
Everyone is very friendly and loves what they do.
Cons
Not actually in Seattle. But rather in Bothell, WA

I have been working at Seattle Genetics (Less than a year)
Pros
The work life balance in Seagen is good. Could learn a lot of knowledge from the colleagues. A lot of meetings with people from different functions.
Cons
First, the green card application starts only after H1B being selected. Second, cannot work from home, on site only. But WFH is currently being discussed. It should be flexible in the future.
Advice to Management
Manage system is good. The managers are really nice. But do not have the new employee training. Hope in the future will be better.
I have been working at Seattle Genetics (More than 8 years)
Pros
Passion for helping patients drives most to achieve their best.
Cons
Currently looking at flexible work arrangements, but it might be a while before it is implemented.
Pros
Nice people, comfortable environment, many activities were held for interns, including bubble soccer, a tour to lake, BBQ and etc. Supervisors are knowledgeable and responsible.
Cons
A little bit too short, wish it can last longer. Since there is not enough space for every intern in the buildings, our office is in trailers next to the buildings and it is kind of far to walk back and forth.
Pros
Nice working environment and good co-workers
Cons
Seattle is a small biopharm industry.
Advice to Management
Involve more people outside seattle area
