    Pros

    Great company vision.
      Good pipeline.
Some colleagues are Professional and helpful.
      Training opportunities.
      Decent compensation and benefits

    Cons

    Taken from earlier review:

Decision-making is not transparent -- many behind closed doors. No life. Very hard to get through a work day in the office. In meetings someone controls everyone by setting his own agenda and deciding what everybody else do and how they do it and when. The meetings are a one-man show where the person calls the shots in a controlling talk. Others have to sit stiff and silent listening. No one shares their thoughts and ideas in an open and friendly atmosphere. No smiles, laughs.. Just work and leave. Its made obvious that you are not trusted, your ideas, suggestions, questions are not welcome. Just do what is told.

    Advice to Management

Provide a channel for employees to reach out to their HR, people are afraid to speak their minds, try to empower them. Let employees have a life outside work, which doesn't mean company parties and outings. Also, ensure employees personal time outside office hours be personal, not to be reached just because you have their contact. Good people can go anywhere, its your job to keep them. Time to upgrade outdated software for sharing systems.

I worked at Seattle Genetics full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The company itself is great and the people are fantastic. I think there's a lot to be said for the worker bees who make the most of it every day and really add a great sense of fun and teamwork to the environment. They definitely have a good pipeline and will likely have a very stable future.

    Cons

The culture, as others have said, is incredibly toxic. Managers micromanage, people aren't empowered to make decisions and even when they are they're often second guessed or 'undone' by Sr. Management. I worked in a group that wasn't allowed to make decisions and was ruled by iron fist.

    Advice to Management

Stop promoting people for no apparent reason; not everyone is made out to manage people, in fact, some of them just shouldn't.
