    Pros

Good employee atmosphere and flexible when it comes to family. They recognize employee appreciation. The benefits are comparable to other organizations in the community.

    Cons

There is not much room for advancement a lot of the employees have been in their positions for 10+ years. When you are hired or promoted promises are made that are not followed after you have been performing in the position. There are very few women officers.

    Advice to Management

This is a great organization continue to empower employees. The philosophy that management has when it comes to services it outstanding. This is what sets them a part from their competition.

    Pros

The bank was a good place to work and the employees were nice. The own is nice and has a small town feel.

    Cons

The pay was normal for a bank which is always less than market value. The building could be remodeled soon.

    Advice to Management

Nothing really to say. Management was good but seemed a little old fashion. The were advanced in their IT assets.

I worked at Security National Bank part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The people you work with are kind and understanding. Everyone is looking to help you out.

    Cons

Growth is latteral in banking and less upwards. You can move departments, but moving up takes multiple years.

    Pros

Once you are there for a while, you really start to feel as though you are part of a family. The customers are all really great, even though they can definitely be problems.

    Cons

The people that you work with can get very catty because you are with them all of the time and most of them are females. Everyone likes to fight over which days they get off.

I worked at Security National Bank full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Fellow employees were nice and they kept the computer systems up to date. Some of the branches were kept up very nicely, but not all of them.

    Cons

Pay was awful, even compared to other banks. The upper management was condescending and only care about the bottom line. Turnover was outrageous partly because they tried to make all tellers part timers to avoid paying benefits.

    Advice to Management

Spend a little more time getting to know you employees and appreciate them, because in the end it is because of them that you have success.

  7. "Poor company to work for. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Horrible pay and even worse boss."

    Pros

Customers were great to see on a daily basis. Easy Job and good hours plus holidays off. Room for growth if you wanted to continue with them.

    Cons

Bosses were horrible and didn't help. Company had to many rules and regulations they didn't even follow but expected you too. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

    Advice to Management

Get a clue and listen to your employees. Also maybe pay them more. They handle a lot of your money and trust them but you wont pay them enough to live on..
