I worked at Seeman Holtz full-time

    Pros

Some really nice people that do care

    Cons

Micromanaged, no room for advancement, no recognition of accomplishments, discrimination from HR for being good at what you do, I felt like a second class citizen. "Re-organized" with no warning and little compensation, left me uninsured on health coverage.

    Advice to Management

I worked at Seeman Holtz full-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

Great training program offered. There is a lot to learn in this industry, which requires considerable studying at home. Sometimes there would be free lunches, which was a bonus. Great place for college graduates, or people who still live with their parents.

      Cons

The company is going through significant growing pains as they transition into new lines of business. With that being said, there is a clear lack of execution and professionalism at this company. Management is often very reactive and ego driven. Which makes the experience as an employee insufferable. Regardless of what they tell you, (because it seems to change every month or so) You will be an appointment setter for...

I worked at Seeman Holtz full-time

      Pros

Good food for lunch in the area. Good phone training.

      Cons

Job and comp plan changed a half dozen times in 8 months. The managers are create a hostile and tense work atmosphere. They do not seem to like each other at all either. Majority of the sales force is struggling to make any money.

I worked at Seeman Holtz full-time for more than 5 years

      Pros

Good system gone bad, stay on process or the little guys (managers) will make rough on you and never give you any leads. Possibility to make some money

      Cons

Stay on process for the pencil pushing managers that brown nose the upper management. No good lead gets pushed down to the little guys. No benefits or retirement plan, consider you an independent yet you have to sell what they tell you to.

      Advice to Management

Offer some benefits and do some marketing

      I worked at Seeman Holtz

      Pros

Business model is big picture focused vis-a-vis a single product driven process.

      Cons

Company recruiter overstates the opportunity. Provided leads are anything but viable. Days and days of cold calling results in zero opportunities. Absolutely no back up or support by management.

      Advice to Management

If you're not honest and forthcoming with your advisors, how can you be credible with clients?

I have been working at Seeman Holtz full-time

      Pros

Their Client Service Campaign is the best in the industry. There is a great amount of support for their advisors.

      Cons

The leads provided tend to be recycled so it can be difficult to book appointments with potential prospects. Telemarketing is constantly expected and seems to never end.
