I have been working at Sekai Electronics full-time

    Pros

Lots of talented hard working employees. A true sense of being part of a family. Management takes the time to get involved in every aspect of the business.

    Cons

Smaller Company so salaries are not on par with the industry. Benefit Costs are fairly high. 401K matching is lower than most of the other technology companies in CA.

    Advice to Management

Try to put emphasis on Operational execution and increasing employee salaries and benefits to help motivate the entire company.

I worked at Sekai Electronics (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Medical and Dental is 75 percent paid and you just pay for the medicine and co-pay about 25 dollars per visit. A year you get maybe a couple weeks paid and that's if you're senior 6+ years working there. Nice quiet offices or pens and restrooms are good. Those are the perks.

    Cons

Very high pressure to do more with less. Watch out or you're going to get the boot no matter how long or what you contributed. They have a way to boot you without warning whenever they're ready or need to reduce employees. The 401k is like nothing ever happened. Company doesn't match or very very little.

    Advice to Management

Good management overall except need to hire more experienced employees instead of keeping all the low wage ones. There you will see a difference. Think long term not short term profits.

    Pros

    Great employee's bad upper management

    Cons

Poor upper management, no respect for employee's over worked under paid.

    Advice to Management

Show respect for employee's, watch dirty language used in work place.
