    Pros

Local employees were great to work with. Local management was fantastic.

    Cons

Complete disconnect between local and corporate. Was always nerve-wracking when corporate came into town. Corporate management needs to take Emotional Intelligence training.

I worked at Select Specialty Hospitals (Less than a year)

    Pros

Will hire on spot only because they are severely short staffed

    Cons

Excessive amounts of work and stress, no downtime, no help from CNA or nurses, strict management, will write you up for anything. No respect for RTs. This job is not worth any money. You are at risk for losing your license while working here.

    Advice to Management

Adding more staff, have nurses and CNAs help with alarms not just rely on RTs

I have been working at Select Specialty Hospitals (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    HR is quick with onboarding

    Cons

The worst leadership. Very aggressive and quick to fire all who do not conform with negative culture

Very high turnover...no one considerably stays to work here beyond 3 months

90 days to accrue 5 hours of PTO

    Very strict attendance policy

Threatens staff frequently with write ups

    Slow business software

    Outdated work environment

Doesnt really care about its patients or staff, only cares about its bottom line and census

    Advice to Management

Hire a new leader for this facility. Keep staff who makes who maintain good morale. Support staff with more than candy bars, or take another considerable "L" in 2019.
