I worked at Self-help Credit Union as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Self-Help Credit Union provided a very informational look into working for a non profit that is truly mission driven. The internship program allowed me to work on a mix of assigned task and individual projects which exposed me to digital marketing. Overall I enjoyed me time there the location was walking distance from home and I even got to travel! I was sad to leave, would love to work there again one day.

    Cons

I enjoyed the program. I would the only con is the internship didn't last longer.

    Advice to Management

Continue to do a good job, maybe consider bringing on some unpaid interns during the school year.

I have been working at Self-help Credit Union part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible schedules, works great for people who are still in school. training is one week long so its pretty easy to get into the way of things.

    Cons

Pay is really the only thing that isn't good, as a non-profit it doesn't offer much as compared to other banks.
