    Work in Home Care is always available and this could be a stepping stone to a career in Healthcare. The hands-on experience is invaluable.

    Cons

    There is no guarantee of full-time employment. Working with the elderly can prove challenging if one is not fully prepared.

    Home Health Aides should be evaluated realistically by their superiors based on personal knowledge of work performance and character, with an aim to helping them enhance their potential for progress.

    Pros

    The organization is very generous with time off, and the balance of work and personal life.

    Cons

    The organization doesn't share within senior/management or staff internal goals, or the global direction the organization is working towards. Evaluations are done without context, and make it very hard to know how ones position fits or aligns with the companies yearly mission. There is almost a fake sense of collaboration, with an awkward management structure that seems to leave the 'worker bees' feeling not part of a team. Really bad moral, even during the good times... even worse during the bad ones

    Advice to Management

    Figure out how to create genuine team spirit across all levels of the organization. make work more than a 9-5, hear what people want, listen and actually try and explore alternate ways of doing things.
