    Pros

    - Good group of talented, smart people.
    - Variety of new people from different industries is bringing new ideas & energy to the table
    - No fear of taking risks, willing to test new opportunities
    - Good variety of perks; every other Friday off, very good benefits

    Cons

    - Looking for more talent (but willing to take the time to add the right talent) - can leave current resources a bit stretched at times.

    Advice to Management

Continue to communicate early & often about key items so everyone is on the same page

I worked at Sendori (More than a year)

    Pros

Great small team with very talented, smart and driven co-workers.
Worked with, at the time, very new technologies and products to enhanced web navigation and protect users from malicious domains.
    Great downtown Oakland location

    Cons

Management was always operating from the 50,000 foot level which means that they were completely disconnected from what was taking place at the ground level and the daily challenges faced by the team

    Advice to Management

Get out of the building and go talk to customers. Trust the team to know what to do and to execute to the top of their abilities. Don't pivot on ideas/products too quickly. Products need time to iterate and evolve.

    Pros

good snacks. nice looking office building from outside. reasonable benefits because of the parent company IAC.

    Cons

business has been going downhill for the past couple years, yet the only thing management could do has been continuously trimming cost instead of growing business/sales. Bad office location: hard to commute to and dangerous neighborhood (a spade of recent robberies of co-workers when they left work).

    Cons

    More training for new employees

    Advice to Management

Continue to keep employees informed and engaged in new activities
Continue to empower employees to take on more active roles in decision making

    Pros

Very good and Open Management team who cares about employee, Competitive compensation, One of the very few technology company which provides great work-life balance, team work as unit, very honest and open communication from top to bottom. People willing to learn from mistake, very less politics(rare to see).

    Cons

Difficult to find good employee (this is industry wide issue)

    Advice to Management

Keep doing to the good work. Provide regular feedback to employee. Employee want to hear more from you.

    Pros

    Proximity to BART
    IAC as Parent

    Cons

Senior Management out of touch with employees. Hoards of employees left the company in last 4 weeks, hence quite a few open positions. Head of Engineering is old-school and wants to implement what worked for him in his earlier roles. Lots of politics and there is no communication at all, either top-down or cross teams. But, the blame game happens every day when things go wrong.

I am not suggesting to just go by what I wrote here, but do not just go by some of the positive reviews. Do your research and make sure you understand what you are getting into.

    Advice to Management

Understand ground realities, engage employees and get buy-in.

    Pros

    IAC owned
    Decent Perks
    Close to BART

    Cons

Lack of strategic focus from senior managment
12+ working hours every day is the norm
Lack of respect for employees, Mgmt is out of touch with employee morale
    Constant Reorganization
Daily closed door meetings of management and claiming management is transparent
No communication whatsoever, still expect the employees to read what managers expect

    Advice to Management

Be real transparent and look beyond the leadership team. Take a real good look at the real performers and see the people outside your offices. Stop promoting the same people every 6 mos or every year. There are other employees who deserves it.

    Pros

interesting offering that is unique in the ad market
everyone can directly influence the outcome of company on a daily basis
start up environment with the comfort of profitability

    Cons

pivoting to new initiatives is constant so you have to be able to change direction on the fly and not look back

    Pros

entrepreneural and pragmatic company. Still trying to find it's legs in terms of long-term strategy, but open to new ideas and strategies from all team members.

    Good compensation

Small company where you can wear a few hats and contribute in multiple disciplines if you are motivated or so inclined

no beaurocracy, can spend most of your time producing for the company

    Cons

Going through the process of shaking larger company mentality and (unnecessary) divisions. The company has right-sized and (recently) enacted a more effective org structure.

    Advice to Management

Keep it real, provide timely and accurate feedback to employees.

    Pros

Divested from IAC, so now have ability to make decisions for the good of Sendori. Management listens to employees. Recently changed to a 9/80 work schedule. Great to have every other Friday off. Pays out a monthly bonus, instead of waiting till end of year. No politics. Employees are extremely friendly. One of the nicest places I've worked.

    Cons

It is a tough business environment but with monthly company meetings everyone knows what the company is trying to achieve.
